Clinical Management Board (CMB)

The Clinical Management Board is responsible for the overall running of the GP Provider Company (GPCo) to ensure that the best possible service is offered within the community.

Role

From clinical governance and delivery of the Business Plan to the day-to-day responsibility of managing and operating the GPCo, the CMB is a local group that will address all issues involving the GPCo.

Aims of the CMB:

• to provide clinical leadership within the GPCo
• to set the strategic direction and priorities for the GPCo
• to monitor and manage GPCo performance
• to account for overall Governance (clinical and corporate) within GPCo
• to represent the interests of all GPCo members
• to communicate and engage with all stakeholders
